Career

hello people!!

Wow it has been such along time since I even bothered visiting my own blog! Have been so preoccupied with going out, and finding for jobs and reading newspapers (yes i'm inculcating this good habit in my life now but somhow it takes too long to finish reading the nespapers! Hence however hard I try, there will always be backlogs...like I literally look back now and I see 1 whole stack of papers there waiting for me to conquer..prolly papers since last thursday or something coz I haven't been home much.)

To continue from the previous paragraph, I realised that I have been going out way too much! And of course I have reasons! Coz 1. the nice swedish people are down! So we've been showing them all the tricks to get around our system, our nice dishes and places bla bla. 2. it's my last week of holiday! and ming's too! Yes, missy here has found a job! muahahahaha...and 3. it's 2nd last week of singledom for my best fren! heheheee..my dear lakshmy is getting hitched! *sob* :p kidding...i LOVE the groom too!

Ming and Siva, and Me and Lakshmy, are SOOOO alike..sometimes i'm so freaked out. I'm very glad that our men can click tho, babe :)

So what other interesting stuff do I have to say? i actually wanna upload pictures and describe abit but den the weather is so fantastic that i dun feel like sitting in front of my com! I jus wanna lay in bed with food and drinks and the TV controller by my side at all times. That's life ain't it?

Oh ya, I found a job! In sgh doing HR. I'm called a HR/work-life executive. Basically, i'm in charged of making staffs happy and reduce the turnover rate. To integrate their physcial and mental health in their jobs through programmes or events I come up with. So call me Doctor Cheryl! Just that I don't have my own stethoscope..and i dun need one either...all i need is to listen, create, implement and evaluate!

hey hey..all the way from barcelona, it´s mua saying HOLA!

Im left with only 10 days here can yall believe that??? Oh how i wish i could download pictures here but i can´t! I have so much to show and tell! Barcelona is so far the BEST place i´ve visited and the Eiffel and Pisa, fwah...amazingly awesome man!! It is so different to see it live than when u see pictures really. I swear that this has been such an amazing experience. And i´m extremely tired. Can´t wait to go home and enjoy the food in singapore. Now i truly appreciate the cost of living in singapore, the wide variety of food there, and the pride that hawkers take to give us the delicious hokkien mee and char kwey tiao!!

9 more days in Lund ONLY!!

This is soooooooo saddening. Time passed way too fast man. 9 more days and we'll be leaving Lund. Although we'll be leaving to travel the rest of Europe, I still feel like..."sayang"...to be leaving this beautiful place with beautiful people.

Anyway, I'll probably MIA for about 40-45 days I reckon. Yea about there. Tell you my stops ok? :p (oh anyway..digressing..I made wonderful cheesecake yesterday for myself coz it was my b'day! :p)

Well, reason I don't blog is because there are so many things here occupying me!! It's just lovely to be staying in another county for so long. You meet many different people and culture everyday and it just makes me happy. Unlike in Singapore where you open your eyes, thank God for another day, and...what then? There's practically nothing new to look forward to, you just wake and see the same things everyday, go about yr routines. But here, NO! Everything is new. Everyday is made up of impromptu decisions depending on the weather. If nice and sunny, BBQs and picnics and sports or cycle to town to grab the best ice-cream in town. If weather is too cold, stay-in to cook and watch movies in the common corridor. Well that's how it'll be for these couple of mths for me at least. Prolly it'll wear off soon but till then, i'm thoroughly enjoying every single sec of this :)

Anywayz, I've been in Lund for 11 days, Kiruna for 3 days, Stockholm for 3 days and Malmo for a day. All in all, i've been away from Singapore for abt 2.5 wks? Very fast huh! I'm left with like only 3wks in Lund? COming monday, will be off to Eastern Europe - POland, Budapest, Czech and Austria. Will update my picasa thereafter ya?

My face tells it all. On Bangla rd :p Oh let me tell you, the weather in Phuket, is POWER! You'll get burnt under it's sun after just 5min!! Nice...

In Phuket. That's our ship far far away. Phuket, a place filled with memories of the good times with my Baby down Bangla rd. Oh how I miss you baby!! So different going thr without you.

The 1 and only club where they have all their bingo sessions, clubbing, pubbing, chilling, dancing lessons and sometimes variety shows...

The 1st day always consists of a party with entertainers and bazaar at the poolside. The last day always consists of a gala dinner. WHo din know? I din. But seems like every tom, dick and Harry, Lucy , Jane and Mary knew about it. Indian or Chinese nationals, all knew about it! Cept for my whole family. Well anyway my sis is the type who doesnt bother abt such things la. They believe that money makes teh world go round. You dun need to dress up fancy or anything. Just show them the money! keke..somewhat true..but nice to dress up sometimes dun u tink so?

Eh Star Cruise much better than expected. Check out the 4 bedded room. When all the 4 beds are set up, there will be no or little walking space, but still u know..i mean how often will you be in the room? If only I was more daring, there are so many things to do like suntan, swim (tho tiny pool), jacuzzi, gym, go for the aerobics they organize, eat, gamble, spa, mani/pedi, pamper your hair, play mahjong, drink in the bar, watch movie...so many many things to do if you're those who dun mind doing things alone!! wasted trip...coz my darl isn't with me..hope to go again for a cruise with you, baby. The best is to go with a big group of friends. Who wanna go again? In 2008? Shall we all start saving money? Heee...
