*Fingers crossed*
Keeping my fingers crossed..hoping things will be better now..like i said, it's not that you CANNOT quit, but rather you DON"T WANT to..Mom quitted once and for all after 30 yrs, Grandad quitted after half a century, kus managed to quit too (as i just found out :) And thanx for the support!)..like seriously..isn't it obvious now where this problem is coming from? Not the addiction. It's YoU.
So what's the choice gonna be this time?
Being cooped up at home is no joke..suppose to be studying alrite..but instead i'm preoccupied with other things like what this incident means, my future upon graduation, the holidays i dream abt, the ability to open a cafe of my own in future, the dream to be this magnanimous tai tai, the things going on in my friends' lives..and so on and so forth...hahaa..
Ms hairdresser told me today that i've got a 'social work look'..haha..i tink it's true...ms social worker..i wanna be the modern social worker..i wanna formulate my own helping strategies..will i ever get down to that? Only God knows..if only i could read that book of His..it has my whole life story in it til the day i die :)
Ms hairdresser oso said that MIng was a lucky chap to have me..and that he's smart to still hang on to me after 6 years..muahahhaahHA..u lucky dude..then with his poor little puppy look..he says without even abit of shame.."she's lucky to have me too"..sheesh..that's so...so...that's so YOU! Ming, that's jus SO YOU to say something shameless..well that's the beauty of it all i guess..hahahaha..anywayz the bottomline of the whole conversation during the session was that she really envied us both..whom she says she can tell that we both are very good youngsters..ming is smart and lively..and me patient and 'social workish'..hard to find youngsters like us nowadays! Hey that came from her mouth ok..not mine..:P
I dun think it's because mom was stern or anything like that. People have the misconception that parents have to be stern to have good kids. Well it's not like that. Very much depends on the child's character as well..some respond well to the soft approach..some to the hard approach..but ultimately, it's using the correct approach at the correct time..
~just me n my 2 cents~
